New Concept Convenience Store

By Emma Summerell

In September 2014, plans were announced to replace the car garage in Station Road, Heathfield with a little Waitrose convenience shop. One year later, at 7am on 23rd September 2015, Branch Manager Jeremy Barnard cut the ribbon and the first customers flooded into the store.

Heathfields is the first of the Partnership's convenience stores to offer customers hospitality areas including a patisserie grazing area. Customers can browse more than 5000 different products including the Waitrose essentials range, freshly made baguettes, hot, ready to eat snacking and award winning wines.

The branch has created over 60 new Partners. Many of these are from the local area.
