Frimley: refit

Partners and customers at Frimley have welcomed the completion of one of the division’s most ambitious refurbishment projects, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony taking place at the branch last Friday [Nov 2012].

The 14 week project at the branch – acquired from Sonmerfield in 1999 – combined two major programmes – replacing the entire sales floor with hard wearing terrazzo tiles, while at the same time carrying out a refurbishment.  In addition, water-chilled refrigeration and air-sealing systems were installed as part of our carbon reduction programme, and Partner amenities were refurbished.

While not the first branch to have its floor replaced, Frimley was unique in that it continued trading throughout the programme.
