Chesham (192) charity cycle ride

Four Chesham Partners cycled 50 miles around five branches to raise money for the Group’s cluster charity Keech Hospice.

Sarah Prestige, David Howe, Nick Freeman and Janine Bird, a long with two friends, took around six hours to cycle around our branches in St  Albans, Harpenden, Leighton Buzzard, Berkhamstead and Chesham, after careful route-planning which avoided most of the hills.

“We were thrilled by the welcome we received when we returned to Chesham, Partners lined the loading bay and cheered us over the finishing line”, said Janine.

The group raised more than £150 – and counting – and hopes the ride will be repeated next year with Partners from other branches in the cluster group also taking part.
