Gerry Tweeddale

I worked with Gerry for the second time at 162 the old Newmarket Branch in the early 80’s where Gerry was Deputy Manager and I was Assistant Branch Manager.
I first worked with Gerry in 1973 in the very early days of my career at 125 Temple Fortune where Gerry was Branch Manager and I was a Junior Trainee. Gerry took me under his wing along with several other young Managers who went on to have great careers in Waitrose.
When I moved to Newmarket he helped me to settle in the area and I remained friends with him and his wife Magaret until he passed away several years ago.
