Book Club cheque

Stourbridge

Members of Stourbridge branch book club, "A nose in a good book" presented a Community Matters cheque for £356 to Stourbridge Library recently, who have used the money to bring National Storytelling Laureate, Katrice Horsley, to the town to tell stories to young children and encourage them to read books.

The branch book club was formed this February and Partners meet once a month.  BM David Harcourt said, "The Book Club was inspired by Sally Ellsmore and Gill Gray and is developing a great fellowship of avid readers".
