Saffron Walden: retirement party
Mary Bates was 135’s Service Counter Manager. Mary also worked at Waitrose Whetstone and Newmarket before arriving at Saffron Walden.
The retirement party was held at the Lord Butler Leisure Centre near the Branch.
Mary’s daughter Caroline also works at 135 (she is pictured in the opening day pictures serving one of the first customers)
