Westbourne

Westbourne branch has coloured lights along the front – and the notice on the lamp standard announces ‘Westbourne‘ for it is just at the town boundary.

Branch opened in 1971 and we have obviously made our mark, today they call the stop as “Waitrose“.

  • I had a Saturday job here a couple of years after it opened. There was a butchery department, and we cut our own bacon, and some cheeses.
