Another idea involving different conveyors was a result of Mr Keith Harvey’s idea of installing a gravity feed roller conveyor between the two existing rollers which carry goods from the receiving dock to the palletising stations.  The Suppliers pallets then have to be carried manually from the palletising station back to the receiving dock.  The installation of another conveyor between the two existing ones will carry the pallets out without Partners having to carry them along a narrow walkway alongside the present conveyor.

Mr Harvey has been awarded a £50 bonus on the grounds of improved safety and productivity.
