The first delivery

The first-ever delivery of stock direct from the manufacturers was made at 9 am on Monday 12 June to our Goods Inwards.

The driver shows his delivery note indicating the goods he has onboard.  He wil then be able to back his lorry up to one of the fourteen bays where it will be unloaded and the goods stored in the warehouse.  Our computer will decide where they are to go.  Before long, one of the branches to be served from here will send in an order.  That in turn will be fed into the computer; the appropriate goods will be selected and sent on their way again, shortly to appear on our shelves for our customers to choose.
