Saffron Walden: Partner volunteering

Saffron Walden Partners gave the Uttlesford Volunteer Centre more than a lick of paint.

Using donated paint and equipment, several Partners, their friends, and family mucked in under the Partner Volunteering scheme to transform the centre. It provides the Uttersford area with volunteer support for hundreds of local charities and organisations, so it was a chance for the branch to give something back – and established more of a relationship with the centre.

Customer Service Partner Jack Trotti not only works at the centre for five hours per month via the volunteering scheme, but has also become a trustee.
