Hats off to South Woodford

South Woodford sponsored a local playgroup’s Easter party.

The branch supplied ‘food and drink’, including mini-eggs, orange juice and tea bags, for the Woodford Pre-School Playgroup.

A bottle of champagne was also donated for the first prize in a competition for the best Easter hat made by a parent.

DM Merchandise Claire Higginson judged the competition.  She said: “The standard of artistic talent was very high, it was quite difficult to judge”.
