Enfield donates a 'Bag for Life' bench

Enfield has donated a ‘Bag for Life’ bench to the busy shopping centre where the branch is situated.

The bench was presented to the Palace Gardens Shopping Centre’s manager Jeff Percival.

DM Fresh Foods Mark Caress said: “The bench takes pride of place at the Waitrose customer collection point, where it was soon put to good use by happy customers waiting to be collected after their shopping trip had been completed.

One customer said: “It’s like having a comfy armchair to sit on.  It’s nice that Waitrose looks after it’s shoppers”.
