Smile for a child

Harrow Weald presented a cheque for £1,400 – the biggest sum the branch has given – to Smile for a Child, the charity that aims to provide grants for disabled and disadvantaged children to help them participate and progress in sports, which is run by former Partner Chris Read.

The branch raised the money through Community Matters last November/December and presented the cheque to Chris and his mum – who is a trustee – last month.

Chris was a Partners for 27 years until he set up the charity.
