Oakgrove: Opening

In May 2013 Waitrose Milton Keynes relocated to a brand new store, which was nearly 60 percent larger than the existing shop.

The new branch opened in Chaffron Way, Oakgrove, Milton Keynes on Thursday 9 May 2013. Partners served the last customer at the shop in Midsummer Boulevard just a day before.

All 169 Partners transferred to the new store, joining 65 new Partners, who were required for the bigger and more modern branch.  The Midsummer Boulevard branch had been trading for 25 years and Waitrose has been trading in the area since 1979.
