Lichfield tree planting

Partner volunteers from Lichfield gathered in a local park on a freezing morning last week to help plant nearly 1,000 trees, which the branch is donating from the 75th anniversary fund money.

The trees include oak, birch and sweet chestnut and are being planted in Beacon Park, which is a short drive from the branch.  Local residents, members of the local Sea Scouts and a group of wildlife enthusiasts joined Partners in planting the trees.
