Branch at Hong Kong day
Leighton Buzzard branch went to Hong Kong day at Ascot and even saw a dragon on display.
The idea for the day out for 54 Partners and friends was set up by the branch Social Committee.
The early start saw them leave at 8.30 am on their way to Monkey Island on the Thames near Bray where they stopped for brunch.
As well as having a full breakfast, they also enjoyed their first drink of the day from the bar in the splendid gardens. They enjoyed it so much that they stayed for an hour and went straight to Ascot by passing Windsor.
When the branch members arrived they found a Chinese village had been built in the entrance where they could try their hand at making noodles, get their fortune told, or even have a short massage.
