Chris thanks Moorfields

Young Christopher Tomsett and his mum Sarah, Publications Manager, Buying Services, were able to say a big thank you to Moorfields Eye Hospital in London with a £1,000 cheque presented on behalf of Waitrose.

Seven year old Christopher was born with Glaucoma and has received treatment at the hospital since he was a baby.

Glaucoma is rare in children, it requires specialist treatment and regular check-ups to prevent further loss of sight.  The money will be used to buy equipment to help monitor children with Glaucoma.
