Bug mansion build

Lymington Partners recently gave 40 hours through Partner  Volunteering to support a wildlife project at Furzey Gardens.  Furzey  Gardens Charitable Trust offers acres of peaceful woodland walks, exceptional trees and shrubs, as well as residential care and horticultural training to young people with learning difficulties.  The organisation has two locations and Waitrose shoppers have previously voted for the charity to get support through the Community Matters scheme.

The Lymington team built a seven storey mansion out of pallets filled with natural materials that insects like to nest in.  Ten Partners got involved in the project as part of a wider strategy at Furzey Gardens to encourage insects.
