Hat-Trick for Waitrose Wine

It’s been a hat-trick for our Wine Buying team this past week.  Our own-brand wines scooped 32 gold medals at the International WineChallenge (IWC) Awards, the Drinks Business Awards named Waitrose as having the Best Buying Team and we won the accolade of Multiple/Specialist Drinks Retailer of the Year at the Harpers Awards.

At the IWC, the winning wines included our Solera Jerezana Dry Oloroso Sherry, while at the Drinks Business Awards we were also runner-up in the Retailer category, after being just pipped to the post by Dubai Duty Free.
