In the bag for TV presenter

Journalists thronged to this years’ Glastonbury Festival, which lead to an unexpected encounter for our new Wells management team ahead of their branch opening on 25th July.

The team had been using a Wells hotel for a two-week operational and team-building series of meetings, when they happened to meet TV and radio presenter Dermot O’Leary, who was also using the hotel while he was covering the festival.

Wells Personnel Manager Jonathan Blake says: “We had noticed that he carried his wellington boots in a Waitrose bag and he was happy to chat with us and pose for a photo.  He asked us lots of questions about the opening and wished us all the very best – It was great fun for the whole team”.
