Hawaii

The branch dining room was transformed into Hawaii 139, with palm and banana “trees” and pineapple “plants” with taped music by Johnny Pineapple and his band, and a rendition from Harry Belafonte.

Lunch was served by local native “maidens” in their colourful traditional costumes, dishing up such delicacies as chicken creole, BBQ pork and tropical run trifle, washed down with fruit punch.
