Bracknell Quiz Night

The first Quiz night organised by the Bracknell Social Committee was held at the end of October and was heralded a great success.

Steve Barnes and Carol Hill organised the event with the help from David Ferguson selling the raffle tickets.

The Question Master Nick Harvey asked questions on various categories, including history, geography, general knowledge and nursery rhymes.

Fourteen teams took part in the quiz and after all ten categories had been answered and correctly marked, two teams jointly finished first, Malcolm’s Marsuclers and Socorading.

A tiebreak question was asked “How long is the M25”.  Both teams submitted their answer and Socorading were the closest.

The winning team consisted of Lyn Watson, Pauline and David Pendle, Joyce, John and Andrew Elliott who were presented with a case of wine.
