Witney's cycle ride for charity
Through the Challenge 2012 initiative in the run-up to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, our Witney branch decided to cycle the distance from John O’Groats to Lands End using exercise bikes.
Nearly 50 Partners cycled more than 1,000 miles – exceeding the target distance of 846 miles – while raising £564 for the charity Riding for the Disabled.
“Partners were hugely enthusiastic and there was certainly competitive spirit as to who could cycle the furthest!” says DM Retail Support Alex Usher.
DM Retail Skye Barbour adds: “It was a fantastic way of building team morale”.
