Gerry runs away with it

A Partner has celebrated his 50th birthday by competing in the Flora London Marathon.

Gerry Wilkinson managed to run the marathon course in a time of 4 hours 28 minutes, raising almost £3,000 for Parkinson’s Disease charities.

Gerry said: “There was a tremendous atmosphere in Greenwich Park beforehand and I had a few nerves.  It took ages to get over the start line.  I really enjoyed the first 13 miles, but then I began to get tired”.
