Hailsham schoolchildren got the chance to find out about new Food Explorer range at their local branch.

Each of the 220 children from the Hellingly Country Primary School were given a bottle of water, a special Food Explorer Bag for Life and a leaflet about the range.

Karen Hearn from checkouts said: “The school contacted the branch to see if we could donate a bottle of water to each child.

This will help to promote awareness of drinking water and healthy living.  It also gave us an opportunity to explain about the Food Explorer range”.

The pupils who were very excited with the gifts and based on the success of visit, ASM checkouts Becky Millard will be contacting other local schools.
