The strength of the Partnership is evident in the aftermath of a fire at our Finchley branch on Monday morning.

Partners across the business have joined forces to offer support following the blaze, which has caused significant structural damage to the building.

The fire was discovered at around 6.15 am, Partners and cleaning staff escaping uninjured after they were alerted by the branch's smoke alarm system.

Twenty fire engines - the maximum that could be allocated - attended the north London store from stations across Barnet, more than 100 firefighters tackling the blaze.

It took almost seven hours to bring the fire under control, but crews spent further time extinguishing small pockets of fire and hot embers.
