The Joy of Living

Last weekend Joy Randle celebrated – it was her 50th Wedding Anniversary – but the biggest cause for jubilation was that thanks to local lifeboatman and Southend Partner James Morely, she was rescued from drowning.

Joy celebrated with her family on Saturday but just two days before along with her daughter Tracy, a check-out Assistant at our Southend Food and Home store, she attended a presentation by Southend Branch Manager Russell Cattell of a fax machine to the RNLI station at the end of Southend Pier.
