Waitrose Football Association

Bracknell’s FRV Warehouse five-a-side team did it again last week, winning the Waitrose Football Association trophy at the annual tournament.

Lymington’s team, who put up a splendid battle to end on a goalless final, were beaten 3-2 on penalties.

In the ladies’ final, Kent’s Green St Green beat Lymington 8-0 to take the ladies’ trophy.

In all, Reading’s Palmer Park sports ground saw 42 teams play on what was a chilly day, displaying some fine football skills.
