Dragon boater takes on the world

Woodley Partner Ann Arthington is set to represent Great Britain in the World Dragon Boat Championships next month.

The Grocery Assistant will be jetting off to Philadelphia to compete against teams from countries including the USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and Germany.

Ann who took part in the European Championships last year said: “Everyone thinks I’m mad but they are all pleased I got in the team.  You really get an adrenaline rush from being in a race”.
