Sudbury: new garden for Partners
Sudbury Partners can now eat alfresco after giving a piece of wasteland a make over.
BM Paul Reeley set a team of ASMs the task of redesigning a patch of land alongside the store, into a garden with a stylish eating area, to help ease the seating problem in the branch’s small dining room.
The team set to work redesigning the area while Chris Lewis from the services team laid the paving.
The garden was completed a couple of days later than scheduled, but still ahead of the grand opening with Registrar Group C Sue Norton and the branch’s committee for communication members carrying out the honours. Paul said: “The patio is a tribute to the Partners who have all worked extremely hard throughout the first year at Waitrose”.
