Partners take gliding lessons

Nine Partners from East Sheen, Putney, Twickenham, New Malden, Kingston and Bracknell have taken to the air for gliding lessons.

Kingston BM Peter Hook who took part in the day at Brooker Airfield, said: “As the day went on some of the group opted for aerobatics, their instructors completing loop the loops as well as other thrilling manoeuvres.  Others preferred to keep their stomachs intact and continued to learn the basic facts.

The day enabled each person to have three flights as well as learn the essentials of launching and retrieving gliders.
