Lis helps Puerto Rico team

Several members of the Partnership’s Sailing Club were volunteers of the Paralympic Games, including Manager of Commercial Support and Compliance Lis Gray.

Lis assisted the Puerto Rican national team at the Weymouth venue.  She recalls: “The Puerto Rican sailing team consisted of just one sailor and one coach, and so I had the opportunity to be really hands on.  I was there for whatever they needed, such as getting the boat measured, rigged and lowered into the water”.

Motivated to volunteer for the Games by the prospect of being involved in an extraordinary event, Lis was not dissapointed.  “It was a memorable and fabulous experience – I had a wonderful time”.
