Chris runs 50 miles

Brackley BM Chris Brookman stunned himself when he completed the MONTANE LAKELAND 50-mile race, coming 69th out of 500 starters in a time of 11 hours and 44 seconds.

Chris who runs with Milton Keynes Lakeside Runners had to contend with ascending 3,100m, his own navigation skills and persistant rain and slippery surfaces as he made his way through the race.

“I’m so pleased with my time, I wasn’t expecting it. I hoped to do less than 13 hours, so was delighted.
