Supporting Blood Runners
The support of Waitrose branches in Surrey and the South London area is helping one charity to carry out life saving work.
When Esher gave Service by Emergency Rider Volunteers (SERV) a £330 Community Matters donation, it was welcomed by the organisation that delivers blood products to emergency and accident hospitals across the local area at night, wherever and whenever it is urgently needed to help hospitals and communities.
SERV fundraiser Tim Goodman says: “Waitrose has supported SERV with its scheme at several of its branches, helping our riders and bikes stay out on the road. Their support helps us ensure we can continue to do this essential job, that ultimately saves lives”.
