Caversham: launch of after school club

Our Caversham branch and the Central Berkshire Education Business Partnership launched the region’s first After School Food  Club on Monday.

Forty Year 10 pupils from the local Prospect and Ryeish Green Schools gathered at the store to take part in the club, which aims to give more information to students interested in the food industry.

Our support for the food club is part of the Waitrose@school initiative aimed at promoting food education for young people and ensuring that all kids have the chance to learn about food and nutrition.
