Four Oaks 150

Waitrose Four Oaks was the 54th Waitrose branch to open. With 9,785 sq. foot of selling space, the branch boasted all the mod cons when it opened on 19th November 1974. The Gazette notes that the branch was equipped with the latest model of till, the Sweda 5000. This new till was able to calculate change for the cashier and produce a more readable receipt, as well as being much quieter than its predecessors.
