Players Theatre

Henry VIII and Elizabeth I,  otherwise known as Tony Long and June Garland, popped into the Thame store to thank Branch Manager David Mansfield for the £5,000 Waitrose are donating towards renovation of the local theatre.

Tony and June were in costume for an Elizabethian extravaganza they are performing for the Jubilee celebrations.  They said the refurbishment of the Players Theatre in Nelson Street, Thame, will provide access for disabled people as well as an induction loop for those with hearing difficulties.
