Ladies of Neward have a ball

Ladies from Newark glammed up for a Summer Ball to celebrate five successful years for the branch.

BM Brian Cooper greeted each lady with a single red rose and a glass of bucks fizz and some Partners even splashed out on a stretch limo so they could arrive in style, sipping champagne.

The branch managed to secure discounts at a local hire shop where the men arranged for dress suits and the women could hire ball gowns.

A local hairdresser also opened on Sunday, so hair could be styled, nails manicured and all important make-up could be applied.
