Saffron Walden 135 celebrated its 25th Anniversary in November 2010.

In branch the event was celebrated with a window display created by Julie Willis. On the Saturday closest to the anniversary, Sam Coleman-Raine dressed up as a banana and handed out sweets to children, Branch Manager Malcolm Domb invited the Mayor in for a glass of champagne, and original Partners Anne Harris and Pat Storey encouraged customers to participate in a prize draw. Partners working that day were treated to a buffet lunch by Partner Dining Room cooks Avril Smithet and Beth Sivyer.

A couple of weeks later, Jane Holly organised a meal and party at Saffron Walden Golf Club. Amongst the food on offer was a celebration cake prepared by Lynn Paige and Jenny Boreham.
