Twelve Distribution Partners raised more than £3000 for the Prince’s Trust after cycling the Palace to Palace Bike Ride on Sunday 14th October 2012.
The ride, which starts off at Buckingham Palace and ends at Windsor Castle, covers 45 miles and goes through Fulham, Putney, Kingston, Richmond Park, Bushey Park, Virginia Water and Egham.
“The warehouses had just completed the ‘Buddy’ initative with the Princes Trust and we thought this would be a good way to show our support for this very worthwhile charity”, explained Assistant to the Head of Distribution Natasha Hailes, who as well as taking part organised the event.
The Partners were driven to Buckingham Palace by two Waitrose minibuses and a Waitrose lorry took their bikes.
