Cath's bench is a fitting memorial

A former Partner who died from Cancer earlier this year has had a bench made from recycled Waitrose ‘Bags for Life’ named after her.

The memorial bench will be situated on the green next to Waitrose in Bishop’s Stortford where Cath Fitch, 22 used to work as a weekend assistant.

Bishop’s Stortford Department Manager Steve Dymock said: “Cathy was a valued member of staff who was always fun to be with.  She is sadly missed by all who worked with her and we are all grateful to her parents Margaret and Mick Fitch and the town council, who have allowed us to offer the town this permanent reminder to Cathy”.
