Coulsdon 129

We have another Waitrose in Surrey.  The doors of Branch 129 were opened to the public at 9 am on Tuesday 25 October, and no doubt the ‘which’ – conscious housewives of that prosperous little town on the Brighton Road heaved a sigh of relief.  Coulsdon is in the computer-belt, like its near neighbour Banstead; trains from the station every morning carry thousands of city workers to their desks, and bring them back again every night.
