Finchley: charity event
Finchley Partners were treated to an evening of traditional Indian food and dancing and raised £208 for charity in the process.
A group of Partners from various parts of India prepared the food, and asked people to pay £10 each for a meal. The money raised was donated to Indian Earthquake Appeal. Fifty Partners enjoyed the evening which also included dancing and dressing in traditional Indian outfits.
Wine Specialist Kota Read said: “As well as raising money for charity, we all had a fun night with displays of dancing and singing. We all knew what we were there for however, as it had been explained to us how many Rupees there are to the pound and how far the money raised will go in India.
