It's a family affair

Customers at Hall Green can be forgiven for thinking they are seeing double whilst shopping in the store – because they are.

The branch employs two sets of identical twins, part of a group of 27 employees, who have another member of their family working in the store.

In total the branch employs an impressive three sets of siblings including two sets of identical twins, five parent and child teams, two uncles and their nephew or neice and four couples, three of them married.

Branch Manager John Walker said: “With all these family ties, it’s not surprising that we have a family atmosphere at Hall Green.

It’s always a great recommendation for Waitrose as an employer when one of our Partners encourages a member of their family to join the business”.
