Rockin' back around the clock

Rockin’ back around the clock was how Havant celebrated the Queen’sGolden Jubilee. Some branch Partners wore the crepes and drapes of their youth for a 50’s theme party at a local club, and one Partner even wore similar fancy dress that they had worn during the Coronation.

Checkout Partner Irene Jones gathered a family of teddy boys around her while service counter Partner Linda Smith and her husband dressed as a queen and a pirate. Linda wore an identical outfit at the Coronation Day street party in Hackney, London in 1952.
