Richmond: pilot of 'Cops in Shops'

A new initiative intended to increase the visibility and accessibility of the police to the public has been launched at Waitrose Richmond.

‘Cops in Shops’ was launched by the Borough of Richmond upon Thames and the Metropolitan Police, will enable the police and public to meet in a friendly environment to help combat crime together.  The initiative was launched by Councillor Tony Arbour and Chief Superintendent Gargini of the Met Police.
