Southend - kids get cooking
Southend Food & Home sponsored a healthy eating workshop for 120 school children during the Easter holidays.
The four, one day Cooking for Kids ActivityWorkshops promoted food hygiene and healthy food choices by involving the youngsters, aged up to 12, in a variety of practical food tasks.
Held at King Edmund School in Rochford, the pupils who took part came from three other schools.
Southend donated all the ingredients as well as fruit juice and snack bars.
