Our St Ives branch has supported hot young chefs in a Rotary ClubYoung Chef of the Year competition.

Waitrose, committed to food education, provided prizes, aprons and paid for the ingredients.

The winner was Gemma Pope, who goes on to a District Final at Spalding, facing competitors from six other counties.

The St Ives School had two hours to prepare a main course and dessert for a panel of judges.
