Storrington gets planting

Five Storrington Partners didn’t mind getting caked in mud as they spent a morning planting 50 apple trees in a new orchard last week.

The orchard is at Kirdford, which in the past was well known as an important apple growing area, and is part of the West Weald Landscape  Project, based at the Sussex Wildlife Trust.

As well as planting the trees, Storrington donated £500 towards the new orchard as part of our 75th anniversary.
