Dorking: grocery deliveries to The Grange

For three years, Dorking has been delivering weekly groceries to The  Grange, a local centre for people with disabilities – and their ties are becoming stronger.

The chairty helps disabled adults become more independent, giving them the opportunity to learn new skills, such as cookery, and do work experience.

Every week it places a grocery order with Dorking for residents, as well as for tea room and a shop.  “Before The Grange was let down by other retailers that weren’t interested or consistent in delivering a large order”, explains DM Retail Support Emily Moore.

Now the relationship the branch has built with the centre looks as if it will develop over the years.
